Having struggled to find African art in which they felt represented, sisters Absera & Elilta strove to make African art globally accessible while showcasing the continent's diverse and rich cultural heritage, encouraging a sustainable connection between art and environment.
Our goal was to craft a bold, modern brand identity that challenges outdated perceptions of Africa while providing a clean and understated backdrop that lets the artwork take centre stage. The design celebrates the vibrancy and diversity of emerging African art without falling into clichés or compromises.
